MMA is working with FutureWater for Mowram to deliver Improved Understanding of the hydrology and hydraulics of Colmatage Irrigation Systems. Colmatage also known as 'Preks' take off from the main Mekong and Bassac Rivers and allow access to water and sediments for farmers whilst serving important navigation, flood and ecological functions. HECRAS 2D models will be used to create a detailed picture of flow regime at different times of year.
